Two Players Share €4.6 Million Irish Lotto Jackpot

Saturday’s Irish Lotto jackpot of €4.6 million was shared by two players, with another ticket holder picking up the €500,000 top prize in Lotto Plus 1 on the same night. The two Irish Lotto winners both played Quick Picks and picked up their entries at a Dunnes Stores in Dublin and a Topaz Service Station in Athlone, Co Westmeath, becoming the first players to match all six main numbers since a ticket bought in Co Leitrim scooped €11.1 million on Saturday August 20th.

The winning Irish Lotto numbers were 5, 6, 14, 24, 26 and 29 with Bonus Ball 20, and other prizes won in the draw ranged from a €3 scratchcard for matching two main numbers and the Bonus Ball to €1,203 for matching five main numbers. Take a look at the Results page to see the full Irish Lotto prize breakdown, as well as results and prize details from Lotto Plus 1, Lotto Plus 2 and Lotto Plus Raffle.

Irish Lottery winners have 90 days from the date of the winning draw to collect their prizes, but Saturday’s lucky players might want to act a little quicker than the laidback Meath Lotto Plus 1 winner who said he had a feeling he was due a payout, but waited until the final week for claims before he contacted lottery officials last month.

The two Irish Lotto jackpot winners from Saturday will each receive €2.3 million, and you can join them in the millionaires’ club by buying Irish Lotto tickets online through the Tickets page or by visiting any authorised retailer in Ireland. Make sure to check IrishLottery.com after the draw to see whether you are due a prize!
