The lucky ticket was sold at Clifford’s Centra on Shandon Street, Cork City, making it Ireland’s largest lottery prize in history.
2. Naul Family Syndicate – €175.4 Million (2019)
A family syndicate from The Naul, County Dublin, scooped an incredible €175.4 million EuroMillions jackpot in February 2019, setting a new national record at the time. The winning ticket was bought at Daybreak Store in Naul, and the family described their win as a “dream come true.” This remains one of Ireland’s largest-ever lottery prizes.
3. Dolores McNamara – €115 Million (2005)
In July 2005, Dolores McNamara from Limerick became Ireland’s first EuroMillions jackpot winner, claiming a record-breaking €115 million. Her life-changing win made international headlines and inspired a new wave of Irish lottery players. Nearly two decades later, her story remains one of the most famous EuroMillions wins in Europe.
