Christmas Millionaire Raffle 2017 Prizes Announced

Christmas Millionaire Raffle 2017 Prizes Announced

Irish National Lottery players can now buy their tickets for the 2017 Christmas Millionaire Raffle. The annual draw will give away even more prizes than last year and one lucky participant will become a millionaire in time for the start of 2018.

What is the Christmas Millionaire Raffle?

The Christmas Millionaire Raffle is an annual draw which offers a guaranteed number of prizes. Players are given a unique raffle number when they buy their tickets and then winning codes are drawn on the night. Participants with matching tickets win the corresponding prizes.

When does it take place?

The 2017 draw will keep with tradition and be held on New Year’s Eve.

What prizes can be won?

There are a total of 5,056 cash prizes up for grabs this year, which is a significant increase from the 2016 tally of 3,176. One player will win €1 million, while the other prizes will be worth from €500 to €250,000. The full range of prizes is as follows:

  • 1 prize of €1 million
  • 1 prize of €250,000
  • 4 prizes of €100,000
  • 10 prizes of €10,000
  • 25 prizes of €5,000
  • 115 prizes of €1,000
  • 4,900 prizes of €500

How do I play?

All you need to do to enter the Millionaire Raffle is to visit an authorised retailer and ask the agent for a ticket. Each entry for 2017 costs €25. However, there are only 500,000 tickets available so anyone who leaves it late might be disappointed. If the tickets do not run out, sales will close at 10pm on Sunday 31st December.

How long do I have to claim?

All Irish National Lottery prizes must be claimed within 90 days of the draw date. Unfortunately, the player who bought the ticket worth €1 million in Cork for last year’s draw did not come forward in time and missed out on their money.

Visit the Christmas Millionaire Raffle page to find out more about the annual draw, and check the results after it has taken place. Good luck!
