Sam Weren
Sam is our most experienced team member and has worked in the lottery industry for over 30 years. He has a vast knowledge of lotteries from around the world, including Irish lottery games, and he has helped to shape IrishLottery.com since its launch 22 years ago.
Sam has put his lottery expertise to use in other channels too: he appeared as the numbers expert on the UK's National Lottery television programme and he has written columns as a 'lottery guru' for many different national newspapers. He has also published books on the subject, including The National Lottery Book: Winning Strategies and Playing Lotteries for the Big Money.
Matthew Swift
Matthew is the Technical Manager at IrishLottery.com and has a background in Web Development and Design. Having worked in the lottery industry for 13 years Matthew has developed a thorough understanding of how lotteries work and what lottery players look for, skills that come in handy when working on IrishLottery.com.
Matthew is the go-to guy for anything techy and is currently using his technical expertise to rebuild the IrishLottery.com app. As well as app development, Matthew works behind the scenes to make sure the website is always running at its best.
Rachel Donnelly
Rachel is an experienced project manager and is the member of our team who keeps everything running smoothly. She has a degree in Business Management and puts it to good use on IrishLottery.com, ensuring that all the work that goes into the website is delivered to the highest standards and exceeds the expectations of our users.

George Morley
George has 12 years' experience working in the lottery industry and his areas of expertise are Search Engine Optimisation and Social Media. He's also a member of the Results Verification Team so has the trusted responsibility of making sure those all-important results are published as soon as the draw takes place. What's more, George is constantly on the lookout for ways to improve and expand on the information we deliver.
As well as being a whizz on social networks George is certified in Google Analytics and continuously keeps up-to-date with changes in the world of SEO.
Alister Burton
Alister is the newest member of the team and has been with us for 6 years. As the Content Editor of IrishLottery.com Alister is in charge of our Content team and makes sure the site delivers easy-to-follow and, most importantly, accurate information about a range of lottery-related subjects.
Alister has been a Content Writer for 17 years and has a Master’s Degree in Creative Writing under his belt. He uses that experience to conduct in-depth research and write about a range of lottery-related subects. That could be anything from explaining how to play certain lottery games and special draws to celebrating the latest big winners in Ireland.
