How does EuroDreams work?
In EuroDreams, players choose 6 main numbers from 1–40 and a Dream number from 1–5. Prizes are based on how many main numbers and the Dream number you match.
How many numbers do I need to win EuroDreams?
To win anything in EuroDreams, you must match at least 3 main numbers. Matching more numbers, especially including the Dream number, increases your prize, with the highest tier requiring all 6 main numbers plus the Dream number.
When do EuroDreams draws take place?
EuroDreams draws are held twice a week on Monday and Thursday evenings. The draws take place in Paris at approximately 8:00 PM Irish Time.
What time do ticket sales close in Ireland?
For both Monday and Thursday draws, the ticket sale cut-off time is strictly 7:30 PM Irish Time on the night of the draw. Sales reopen for the next draw shortly after the winning numbers are processed.
How much does it cost to play EuroDreams in Ireland?
A single line entry for EuroDreams costs €2.50. You can purchase tickets at authorized National Lottery retailers across Ireland, online at lottery.ie, or via the official National Lottery app.
What are the top prizes I can win?
The Tier 1 top prize is a tax-free annuity of €20,000 a month for 30 years (matching 6 main numbers + the Dream number). The Tier 2 prize is an annuity of €2,000 a month for 5 years (matching 6 main numbers without the Dream number).
Do I have to pay tax on EuroDreams winnings in Ireland?
No. Just like the regular Lotto and EuroMillions, all lottery prize winnings in Ireland are completely tax-free. However, any interest you earn from investing or saving your monthly annuity payments down the line may be subject to standard taxation like DIRT.
How long do I have to claim a EuroDreams prize in Ireland?
In Ireland, you have exactly 90 days from the date of the drawing to claim your prize. Unclaimed prizes are returned to the National Lottery to help fund good causes.
What happens to the monthly payments if a winner passes away?
If a winner of the first or second prize tier passes away before receiving all of their scheduled annuity payments, the remaining balance is calculated and paid out to their estate as a single lump sum.
What is the minimum age to play EuroDreams in Ireland?
