As one of Ireland's most popular lottery games, Daily Million provides lottery fans with multiple prize tiers and two chances to win them every day! Draws take place at 2:00 PM and 9:00 PM, and you play by choosing six numbers from 1 to 39. Prizes are won depending on how many of your numbers match the winning draw numbers.
How Daily Million Prizes Work
There are a few things to know about Daily Million prizes:
- Daily Million has seven prize tiers.
- The top prize awarded for matching all six numbers is guaranteed at €1 million.
- Unlike rollover-based jackpots, the top prize in Daily Million is always a fixed prize for every draw. It does not increase or accumulate.
- Prizes are not shared or reduced if multiple players win in the same tier. Whether you are the only winner or one of many, you will always receive the full advertised prize for your tier.
- Daily Million includes a Bonus Number, which is drawn from the remaining pool after the six main numbers have been selected. Some prize tiers use this Bonus Number to get a higher payout.

In Daily Million the jackpot does not roll over, and if more than one player matches all six main numbers the €1 million is shared between the winners. All other prize amounts are fixed, and can be seen in the table below:

Daily Millions Plus Prizes
Players can add Daily Million Plus for an additional €1. This places your same set of six numbers into a second draw with its own prize structure. Daily Million Plus offers a top prize of €500,000 for matching all six numbers, and other fixed prizes for lower tiers.
Prizes for the Plus draw operate the same way as in the main draw. They do not roll over, and the amounts remain the same regardless of the number of winners.

How to Claim Daily Million Winnings
- Playing Online: Whether you play Daily Million online or through the Irish Lottery app, any prize you win will be automatically credited to your account once results are confirmed (depending on its value).
- Playing In-Store: Smaller prizes can typically be claimed at authorised retailers, whereas larger amounts may need to be collected directly from the National Lottery claims office. For larger prizes, you must present your winning ticket and complete the standard validation process.
Claim Amounts
Here is a quick breakdown of the process depending on your prize bracket:
- Up to €99: These sums are automatically transferred to your online account. For physical tickets, you can get them through a retailer.
- €100 up to €500: Physical tickets can be claimed at any An Post Office in the Emerald Isle. For online tickets, funds will be paid as an e-payment to the card allocated to your account. If this fails, a cheque may be issued.
- €501 up to €9,999: You must fill out and send a prize claim form to the Irish Lottery. A check will be issued in due course.
- €10,000 and above: For top tier prizes (congratulations), you must contact the National Lottery headquarters to start the validation process. Payment is often made by check or electronic transfer, and professional financial advice may be offered.
