EuroDreams Set For 2025 Shake-Up

A couple of changes are set to be made to EuroDreams - the multinational lottery that started in November 2023 and is Ireland’s only annuity-style game.
EuroDreams gives you the chance to win €20,000 every month for 30 years, instead of a one-off jackpot. The second prize is €2,000 a month for five years, while there are four other prize categories where the payouts range from €2.50 to around €100.
In a bid to shake up the game and attract even more players, an updated set of rules is to be introduced. The major addition will be four Superdraws over the course of 2025.
It has yet to be confirmed how these special events will work, but the French National Gaming Authority (ANJ) has said the top prize could be ‘revalued’ when a Superdraw takes place. This might mean the jackpot increases from €20,000 every month, or the length of the annuity is lengthened.
Another change will see the prize percentages recalculated for levels three, four and five. The idea here will be to allocate more of the prize money to the third tier, so that anyone matching five out of six numbers can expect to receive substantially more than €100.

EuroDreams in Ireland
While there have been more than 3.7 million prizes paid out in Ireland since EuroDreams, there has not yet been a jackpot winner from the Emerald Isle.
The Irish Lottery has previously run a couple of promotions, such as on Halloween last year, when one lucky winner is picked at random to receive an enhanced prize - equal to the second-tier payout of €2,000 a month for five years. A similar draw happened on 29th February to mark ‘Leap Day’.
EuroDreams draws take place every Monday and Thursday night, and to take part you have to pick six numbers from 1 to 40, plus a Dream Number between 1 and 5. The game is also available in France, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland. Make sure to check the results after every draw to see if you are set up financially for the next 30 years.
