Irish Lottery Jackpot Estimated at €9 million

Irish Lottery Jackpot Estimated at €9 million

The Irish Lottery jackpot has rolled over for the tenth time, after no player was able to match the six numbers drawn on Saturday 19th January 2013. This means there is now a whopping jackpot of an estimated €9 million on offer for the midweek draw on Wednesday 23rd January 2013, which will undoubtedly be creating ripples of excitement across Ireland! However, there were still over 45,000 winners on the lower tiers this weekend, so read on to see if you are due a prize!

The winning numbers were 10, 17, 19, 26, 36 and 40, and the Bonus Ball was 43. Five of these numbers and the Bonus proved lucky for one player, who was able to scoop €25,000. This was the third time this year that the second tier prize was won, so there will surely be celebrations in one household this week! 46 players were lucky enough to match all five numbers to win €1,965, followed by 96 players who matched four numbers and the Bonus to win €236.00. For the full details you can visit the Results Page on IrishLottery.com.

The Irish Lottery jackpot is now the highest it has been since March 2012, when the jackpot reached €11.5 million after rolling over thirteen times. This jackpot was shared by two ticket holders, one from the East and one from the North East of Ireland, both of whom took home €5,763,000. This means that if the jackpot is won in the upcoming midweek draw by just one ticket holder, they could become the biggest single winner since the McIntyre family from Belmullet scooped €11 million back in September 2011!

Will it be you? There’s only one way to be certain – to buy an Irish Lottery ticket, and hope your numbers come up!
