Irish Lottery Jackpot Increases to €2.5 Million for Wednesday's Draw

Wednesday night’s Irish Lottery jackpot is now worth €2.5 million after no player managed to match all six main numbers from Saturday’s draw. While no ticket holder took home the €2 million jackpot on Saturday, one lucky player landed the fixed second-tier prize of €25,000 after successfully matching five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball.

There were just over 33,800 winning ticket holders across the remaining five prize tiers, with 38 players each becoming €1,641 richer after matching five main numbers. Following closely behind were 98 ticket holders who matched four main numbers plus the Bonus Ball to claim a prize of €160 each and 1,664 players who matched four main numbers to each win €58. In the remaining two prize tiers there were 2,750 players who matched three main numbers and the Bonus Ball to win €23 and 29,253 players who matched three main numbers to win the fixed prize of €5.

The additional Lotto Plus 1 and Lotto Plus 2 draws failed to produce jackpot winners but both draws saw thousands of other players secure a prize of some kind. The full prize breakdown from both the Irish Lotto draw and the Lotto Plus draws can be found on the Irish Lottery Results page.

There has been one Irish Lottery jackpot winner so far this month and if you’d like the chance to become the second August winner, then make sure you participate in Wednesday’s game! Tickets can be purchased through the Lottery Tickets page or in person from an authorised retailer.

Good luck!
