Irish Lottery Jackpot Won By One Ticket

Irish Lottery Jackpot Won By One Ticket

The results from last night’s draw show that the Irish Lottery jackpot was won by one ticket holder. This particular ticket was bought in Dublin, however the identity of the ticket holder (or holders if bought in a syndicate) is yet to be known. They matched all six of the numbers drawn to win the Irish Lottery top prize, which was originally estimated at €5 million, but actually came out slightly lower at €4,865,953. This win means that the Irish Lottery jackpot goes back to basics and it is estimated at €2 million for Saturday night’s draw.

In addition to the jackpot being won in last night, the results from this mid-week draw also show that three ticket holders matched five numbers along with the Bonus Ball to win the guaranteed second tier prize of €25,000 each. To add to that 3,291 players matched four numbers to each win €29, then over 41,000 ticket holders won the smallest prize in the Irish Lottery, which is €5, by matching any three of the numbers drawn.

The Irish Lottery results from this Wednesday night draw if you haven’t seen them already were 1, 6, 8, 10, 13, 14 and the Bonus Ball was 20. All of these numbers drawn last night all are quite low and as people tend to pick their lottery numbers based on calendar dates (numbers that fail below 31) it is no surprise that the Irish Lottery jackpot was won.

If you want to join this Irish Lottery top prize winner come Saturday night, make sure you have your tickets ready, and you never know you could wake up on Sunday morning an Irish Lottery winner!
