Irish Lottery Results for Wednesday 22nd April 2015

The Irish Lotto draw on Wednesday night ended in a fourth rollover since a ticket holder scooped €2 million by matching all six main numbers on Wednesday 8th April. Nearly 25,000 players won cash amounts in the main game, with prizes ranging from the fixed €5 award for matching three main numbers up to €1,606 for matching five balls.

The numbers drawn were 13, 20, 22, 28, 33 and 39 with Bonus Ball 40, and you can find a complete prize breakdown at the Results page. There are also full details of the Lotto Plus 1 and Lotto Plus 2 games, which give you an additional chance to win cash prizes with the numbers that you selected for the main draw. You can play both Lotto Plus 1 and Lotto Plus 2 for just €0.50 on top of your usual entry, with the opportunity to win up to €350,000 and €250,000 respectively.

The main Irish Lotto draw will feature a neat €4 million jackpot on Saturday, with fans of the game bound to be on the edge of their seats, waiting to find out if their numbers have come up. However, even if no one banks the big prize, this Saturday will definitely see a lottery millionaire crowned. RTE One’s Saturday night collaboration with the Irish Lottery, Million Euro Challenge, will show Martin Burke of Naas in Co Kildare become the first player to scoop the main €1 million prize.

The programme is filmed on a Wednesday and, as well as giving regular contestants the chance to become a millionaire, features three players of the Million Euro Challenge scratchcard battling it out for a €10,000 bounty. Read more about the show, which is hosted by Westlife’s Nicky Byrne, at the Million Euro Challenge page.

You can buy Irish Lottery tickets online now from the Tickets section or you can visit any authorised retailer across Ireland for your chance to snap up this Saturday’s €4 million jackpot.
