Irish Lotto Results for Wednesday 28th January 2015
Irish Lotto fans can now look forward to a €9 million rollover jackpot on Saturday after last night’s draw passed by without a top-tier winner. Despite the lack of a top prize winner, over 33,000 ticket holders matched some of the winning numbers to win very welcome amounts of cash in the final days of the most frugal month of the year.
The top prize has been rolling over since Wednesday 10th December 2014, when a single player won €2.8 million. With the jackpot rapidly approaching eight figures, ticket sales are sure to be as brisk as the recent weather.
Wednesday’s winning line was 2, 15, 21, 30, 32 and 34 with Bonus Ball 36. While no winners emerged in the first two prize tiers, 30 participants did win €2,060 when they matched five main numbers. The remaining ticket holders who snapped up windfalls received amounts worth between €5 for matching three main numbers and €144 for matching four main numbers and the Bonus Ball.
