Irish Punters Win Big After EuroMillions Bets Come Good
Irish ticket holders may not have enjoyed too much success in last Friday’s EuroMillions draw, but two lucky BoyleSports punters did manage to win big after betting on the winning numbers.
Placing a wager on the numbers 7, 15, 29 and 40 in the EuroMillions Plus draw, the first player walked away with a well-deserved windfall of €33,001 after all four balls appeared in the draw. The lucky Cork resident had staked just €1 in one of the Irish bookie’s branches to land the five-figure sum.
Meanwhile, further north in Westmeath, another BoyleSports customer was celebrating similar success after matching the numbers 31, 36, 38 and 49 in the main EuroMillions draw. Thanks to this stroke of luck, the player was able to claim a prize worth over €16,500 on what turned out to be a lucrative night for the two punters, both of whom have opted to remain anonymous.
These latest success stories come just one week after a BoyleSports punter from Dublin picked up a prize of over €18,800, following a series of well-placed bets. “It is amazing to see two more customers reap the rewards of doing their lucky lotto numbers with BoyleSports,” Aoife Heffron, a spokeswoman for the Irish bookmaker, told reporters. “Spending the small amount of €1.50 between them it resulted in incredible winnings of €49,501.50 combined.”
