Single Ticket Holder Wins €6.4 Million Irish Lottery Jackpot

Last night’s Irish Lottery draw finally saw one lucky ticket holder match all six main numbers drawn to scoop the €6.4 million jackpot after nine draws without a top prize winner.

The jackpot winning ticket was purchased in the North East of Ireland and officials are urging anyone who may have purchased a lottery ticket for the draw to check their numbers. The winning numbers from last night’s draw were 8, 9, 14, 15, 42 and 44 with the Bonus Ball 36.

In addition to the jackpot winner, one ticket holder matched five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball to secure the set second tier prize worth €25,000 and 28 players each won €1,966 by matching five main numbers. As the top prize was won last night, the jackpot value now resets to €2 million for Saturday’s draw.
