Irish Lottery Jackpot Rolls for Eighth Time

Irish Lottery Jackpot Rolls for Eighth Time

Last night the mid-week Irish Lottery draw took place and as there was a jackpot worth €5.7 million on offer to win players were hoping to strike lucky and win this life-changing jackpot. However, this wasn’t the case as the Irish Lottery results show that no players matched the six numbers drawn to win the top prize so the Irish Lottery jackpot now rolls over for the eighth time in a row. This means that Saturday’s draw now has a jackpot estimated at €6.5 million on offer to win.

The Irish Lottery results from last night’s draw if you haven’t seen them already are 2, 18, 19, 20, 21, 36 and the Bonus Ball was 27. It isn’t hard to see why there weren’t any jackpot winners as last night out of the six main numbers drawn four of them are consecutive. This quadruple set of numbers, 18, 19, 20 and 21, have never been drawn together before so last night’s draw was the first time this particular set of consecutive quadruplets made it into the Irish Lottery results.

Despite there being no jackpot winners there were two ticket holders who matched the five main numbers drawn plus the Bonus Ball to win the second tier prize which was worth €25,000. In addition there were 56 players that matched five numbers to win €1,040 and then over 30,000 players matched three numbers to win €5. The Irish Lottery jackpot has now rolled over a total of eight times therefore if you fancy scooping the estimated jackpot of €6.5 million on Saturday make sure you have your tickets ready because you never know, you could be a jackpot winner!
