Irish Lottery Jackpot Rolls to €4.5 Million

Irish Lottery Jackpot Rolls to €4.5 Million

Players in the Irish Lottery on Saturday night were hoping to match the six numbers drawn to win the jackpot on offer. However, the results from this draw show that no ticket holders matched the numbers drawn to scoop the top prize, therefore the Irish Lottery jackpot now rolls to an estimated €4.5 million – so the question is, will the jackpot be finally won by any ticket holders on Wednesday night or will it carry on rolling over to surpass the €5 million mark?

Despite there being no jackpot winner on Saturday night there was one ticket holder who matched five numbers plus the Bonus Ball to win the second tier prize that is always worth €25,000. To add to that 58 players matched five numbers drawn to win €1,279 and then over 42 players matched three numbers to win €5.

The Irish Lottery jackpot has now rolled over five times in a row to reach €4.5 million, however if any players match the numbers drawn on Wednesday night to scoop the jackpot then they will become the third Irish Lottery jackpot winners for May 2012. The first win of this month happened on 5th May when two tickets matched the numbers drawn to split the jackpot that was worth just over €5.3 million. Following this the next win of May 2012 happened on the 9th May when a ticket purchased in the South matched the numbers drawn to win the jackpot that was worth €2 million.

Whether the top prize will be won on Wednesday night remains to be seen but make sure you have your tickets ready if you fancy matching the Irish Lottery results to win this jackpot.
