One Ticket Wins Impressive Irish Lottery Jackpot
The Irish Lottery jackpot has been rolling over for quite a while now and last night players were hoping to match the six numbers drawn to win the jackpot on offer. This was in fact the case as the results from this mid-week draw show that one ticket matched the numbers drawn to win the impressive Irish Lottery jackpot that came out at just over €8.6 million. Although the identity of the lucky ticket holder (or holders if purchased as part of a syndicate) is yet to be revealed it is known that the winning ticket was purchased in the Midlands.
The Irish Lottery results from last night’s draw if you haven’t seen them already were 12, 24, 26, 34, 35, 42 and the Bonus Ball was 44. Although one ticket holder won the Irish Lottery jackpot last night there weren’t any players that matched five numbers and the Bonus Ball to win the second tier prize that is always worth €25,000. However, there were 95 players that matched four numbers and the Bonus Ball to win €202.00 and then over 34,000 matched three numbers to win €5.00.
This was the first time in nine draws that there was an Irish Lottery jackpot winner. This means that the jackpot resets and goes back to basics again therefore the next top prize is estimated at €2 million for Saturday’s Irish Lottery draw – but will the jackpot be won again for the second time in a row or will it start to rollover?
